Methuen, MA – Mr. Shane Lee Begin, 45, of Methuen, Massachusetts, passed away on June 8, 2024, in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was born on December 29, 1978, at Lawrence General Hospital Lawrence Massachusetts.
Shane had a big heart, always smiling and ready to help anyone. He was a skilled tradesman, a loving father, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and a real kindness about him. In his younger days, he found joy in activities like playing pool, darts, and riding motorcycles. Shane was a dedicated fan of the Bruins, Celtics, and Patriots.
Despite struggling with substance abuse, Shane never gave up and fought until the end. He recently found a new job at Amazon Robotics, attended church at Renaissance Church in Haverhill, MA, and Granite United in Salem, NH. Shane was active in volunteering, attending meetings and men’s groups, and participating in construction projects at his church. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Shane is survived by his former spouse, Jodi Perochi, his daughter Brooke Sandra Begin, stepdaughter Samantha Grace Cimino, his father Jean Begin, stepmother Linda Begin, siblings James Begin and wife Kristen Begin, Jeff Begin, Luke Begin, Tracey Begin, Kathleen Begin Whitmore and husband Rexford Whitmore, Janie Begin and husband Kent Griffin Step brothers Josh Noel and Jonathon Henriques whom Shane grew up with as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Begin and his mother Irene Begin.
Shane’s educational history includes attending CGS School in Methuen, MA, Methuen High School, and Nora Trade School. He worked as a flooring contractor and recently for Amazon Robotics.

The future celebration of life will be held at a local church in Haverhill, MA, or Salem, NH. Shane will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his family, and his fighting spirit.
