Paul was born in Lynn, MA, on May 2, 1952, the son of Edgar and Gladys (Rooney) Landry. He grew up in Lynn and was a 1969 graduate of Essex Agricultural and Technical High School. He also held an associates degree in Arboriculture from Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst.
Paul was a licensed contractor and did business as Sound Construction. He was an excellent carpenter and never left a job until his customers were fully satisfied.

Paul loved golf and deep sea fishing and spent many weekends off George’s Banks with Jimmy Walsh and all his fishing buddies. He also loved canoeing and camping in Maine and NH.
He told many stories to anyone who would listen about hitch-hiking to the Woodstock concert in 1969 as a teen.
Paul was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Buddy and Jimmy Landry.
He leaves behind his former wife, Fran ‘Sis’ Landry of Salem, NH, who still cared deeply for him, his beloved sister Dorothy Ross, nephew Darren Ross and niece Darlene Smith, all of Lynnfield, MA. Also dearest life-long friends John ‘Ziggy’ and Carolyn Safranski; Ken Klimowicz; Andrea Kelly; Steve and Barbara Renda; Bob and Diana Dipaolo; and Iqbal and Ron Kurker.
A special heartfelt thank you to all those at Cedar Healthcare and Beacon Hospice of Portsmouth, NH, who did a phenomenal job of taking care of Paul, especially during his final days.
