Patricia A. Purdy

Hampton, NH – Patricia ‘Patti’ (Swanson) Purdy, 78, of Hampton passed away after a long illness, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 with her family by her side.

She was born in Manchester, NH on March 1, 1943, daughter of Ester Concannon and John Swanson.  Patti was a graduate of St. Joseph High School.

Patti loved her life at Hampton Beach, shopping, traveling yearly to Florida with her partner in life, Michael Garneau, and spending time with her family.  She was a very caring person and always worried about everyone’s well-being.

Patti always had a smile on her face and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was predeceased by her mother Ester, father John, brother Jack, Aunt Kate and Uncle Tim. She leaves behind her partner of 30 years Michael Garneau, her children Kevin Purdy and his wife, Pam, Tracie Cecenas and her husband Benito ‘Joel’, Timothy Purdy; her grandchildren Jenna and Sean Purdy, Benito ‘Joel’ Cecenas, Frankie Tavarez, and Dylan Purdy; and her favorite cousin Nancy Skal and family; and one great grandchild Elias Tavarez.

No services will be held.  A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patti’s honor may be made to NAMI NH or American Heart Association.
