Nancy A. Dacko

York Beach, ME – Nancy A. Dacko, 81, of York Beach, ME passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her home surrounded by her devoted husband and her loving sons.

Nancy was born on May 29, 1936 in Boston, the only child of the late George and Lillian (Fisher) Ireland. She married Daniel M. Dacko in 1980 and together raised their five boys in Norwood, MA. Nancy and Dan relocated to York Beach in the late 1990s where they lived until her death. She was a loving and caring woman whose family always came first. She loved her boys with all her heart and her life revolved around her grandchildren. Nancy was a stay at home Mom for the most part but loved racing and volunteered her time in the pit area at the New England Dragway for many years.

In addition to Dan, her husband of over 39 years, Nancy leaves her sons, Gary Landers and his wife Kathy of Clearwater, FL, Ronnie Landers and his wife Susan of Norwood, MA, Richie Dacko and his wife Linda of Los Angeles, CA, Shayne Dacko and his wife Raquel of Walpole, MA and Mike Dacko and his wife Lisa of Wrentham, MA. She also leaves her grandchildren, Shannon, Carrie, Shayna, Whitney, Tyler, Jacob, Sarah and Alex, her great granddaughter Jayden with another great grandchild expected soon.
