Kim L. Small

Beverly, MA- Kim Leslie Small (Hillis), aged 71, of Beverly, MA, passed away on March 9, 2024, at Beverly Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on September 19, 1952. Kim was a warm, funny, and affectionate person who loved to laugh.

Kim is survived by her daughter Carey Small of Amesbury, granddaughter Gianna Surprenant of Amesbury, sister Lynn Hillis Bajuelo of Boynton Beach, FL, nieces Michelle Johnson and Dena Smith of NH, nephew Eric Flinkfelt of NH, and several grandnieces and nephews. Stepfather Peter Dizoglio Sr of Clearwater, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother Doris “Bunny” Hillis of Clearwater, FL, and father Arden Lee Hillis of Saugus.

Kim attended Saugus High School in 1970 and later pursued cosmetology at Essex Agricultural and Technical School. She worked at various beauty salons in Lynn, MA. Kim loved to cook, spend time at the beach, but above all, she found the most joy in spending time with her daughter and granddaughter.

A ceremony will not be held at this time. Kim’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
