Charles L. Greenwood

Exeter, NH – Charles L. “Chuck” Greenwood, 69, of Exeter, NH, and formerly of Pelham, NH, died peacefully at home Friday, January 26, 2018, surrounded by family.

Chuck was born June 12, 1948, in Vernon, CT.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy Cates Greenwood; his son Emilio Greenwood, of Wytheville, VA; his daughter Beth Simmons and her husband Matt of Bennington, NH; his daughter Katie Walo and her husband Doug of Rockland, MA; his daughter Emily Duhs and her husband Matt of Waxahachie, TX; 11 grandchildren; his brother Tim, of Florida; his sister Sandy, of Connecticut, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and close friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles; his mother, Ione; and his sister, Marcia.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 1 pm at the Congregational Church of Exeter, UCC, 21 Front Street, Exeter, NH. The Rev. Emily C. Heath will be presiding, and a reception will follow in the vestry. Burial will be held at the Friends Meetinghouse in East Vassalboro, ME, in the spring.
