Beverly A. Williams

d. February 24, 2021

Rye, NH – Beverly Ann Williams, 79, of Rye, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Her final days were filled with laughter and love, surrounded by her family and friends.

Beverly is survived by her husband Ronald Williams, daughter Cassandra Williams, son Matthew Williams and his fiancé Courtney, grandchildren Trevor Bennett and his fiancé Hanna, Matthew Bennett, and Tiana Williams. Brothers Richard Cronin and his wife Paula, William Cronin and his wife Diane, and her best friend, Joyce Marier. She was predeceased by her parents William and Wanda Cronin, and her brother Paul Cronin.

Bev loved to travel, embracing the customs, dress, and food of every destination.  She loved animals, especially cats, listening to Jimmy Buffett, cooking, knitting, and taking “oooh” rides to see the ocean and Christmas lights. Bev loved her Red Sox and listening to Remy and Orsillo.

Bev’s home was always open for a visit and homemade popcorn for all. Whether you called her Ma, Nana, Leverbee, Uncle Bev or Bazzles, she showed us all how to embrace life with humor and love.

Bev may not have sung “I’ve done it my way,” but she would sing, “Sometimes I did it my way, sometimes I did it the way I had to, but I definitely did it!” So please raise your glass to celebrate Bev’s life of the party spirit, because as she liked to say, “It’s 5’oclock somewhere.”

No services are planned at this time; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations can be made in Bev’s honor to the New Hampshire SPCA, located at 104 Portsmouth Rd., Stratham, NH, 03885, or online by clicking here .
