Alana M. Payson

Beverly, MA – Alana M. Payson, 79, of Beverly, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024. She was born July 6, 1945 in Salem, MA a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Adeline A. (Calder) Richard. 

She worked in customer service for most of her life which she enjoyed immensely. 

She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and being around them, they were her pride and joy. She loved the beach, spending time in Maine with her best friends as well as cooking. 

She shared 57 years of marriage with her late husband, Edwin R. Payson who predeceased her on July 3, 2023 

Surviving family members include her children, Christopher Payson and his wife Maria of Boxford MA, and Robyn Baldassarre and her fiancée Robert Cobin of Rollinsford, NH; grandchildren, Dominic & Faith Baldassarre, Erica & O’Neil Danis, Damian Baldassarre and Emily Normand, Josselyn Payson and her fiancée Mike Jesi and Celina Payson and Ryan Rodriguez along with her great grandchildren, Kairi, Roman, Quentin and Lucien Baldassarre. 

In addition to her parents and spouse she was predeceased by her siblings, Joan & husband Bud Chenery, Donald Richard and Dolores & husband Edward Morgan. 

A celebration of life will be held privately with immediate family.
